There will be no readings assigned on Saturdays during this bible reading series. Instead, I am encouraging you to set aside a few minutes on Saturdays to pray for God's mission in the world. As we study the biblical foundations of our call to mission, it is important that we also remember that prayer is the lifeblood of the missional journey.
So, each Saturday I will be posting a prayer from the Book of Common Prayer that can be used as we pray together for God's mission in the world!
O God, you have united diverse peoples in the confession of your Name: Grant that all who have been born again in the font of Baptism may also be united in faith and love; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
