Yet another week of bible reading is complete. This past week our "missional journey" took us into the book of Acts, which gave us a glimpse of the missional life of the early church. We also began to dive into the letters of Paul, who has a lot to teach about what it means to participate in the mission of God in the world. Today, we pause once again to pray for this life-changing mission:
Grant, Almighty God, that the commemoration of our Lord's death and resurrection may continually transform our lives and be manifested in our deeds; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
